Ethical hacking & penetration testing

Find the weaknesses before someone else does. Vimal Kallyat Panoli tests your websites, apps, networks and VPNs the way a real attacker would — with written permission, a clear scope and a report your team can act on.

// what you get

What's included

Web application penetration testing

Manual and tool-assisted testing against the OWASP Top 10: broken access control, injection, authentication flaws, insecure design, misconfiguration and more.

API & mobile app security testing

REST and GraphQL endpoints, token handling, rate limits and Android app storage — the places data actually leaks.

Network & VPN security audit

External and internal network scans, firewall rule review, Wi-Fi segmentation and VPN configuration hardening.

Vulnerability assessment

A fast, wide sweep of your estate that ranks every finding by real-world risk, not just a scanner score.

How Vimal works

  1. 01

    Scope & permission

We agree in writing what is in scope, what is not, testing windows and emergency contacts. No testing starts without signed authorisation.

  2. 02

    Reconnaissance

Mapping your public footprint: domains, subdomains, exposed services, leaked credentials and technology stack.

  3. 03

    Testing

Careful, controlled exploitation to prove impact — without damaging data or disrupting your users.

  4. 04

    Report & debrief

An executive summary for management and step-by-step fixes for developers, ranked Critical → Low.

  5. 05

    Re-test

Once you have fixed the issues, Vimal re-tests to confirm each one is closed.

// questions

Frequently asked questions

What is ethical hacking?

Ethical hacking is authorised security testing. An ethical hacker such as Vimal Kallyat Panoli uses the same techniques as a criminal attacker, but only with the owner's written permission, to find and fix vulnerabilities before they can be abused.

Is penetration testing legal in Ireland?

Yes, when the system owner has given written authorisation. Testing without permission can be an offence under the Criminal Justice (Offences Relating to Information Systems) Act 2017. Every engagement Vimal runs starts with a signed scope and authorisation.

How long does a penetration test take?

A small website or app usually takes 3–5 working days including the report. Larger networks or multi-application platforms are scoped individually.

Will testing take my website down?

Testing is planned to avoid disruption: no denial-of-service attacks unless explicitly requested, agreed testing windows, and an emergency stop contact on both sides.

Do you help fix what you find?

Yes. As a working software developer Vimal can fix issues directly in PHP/Laravel, JavaScript and Android code, or guide your own developers through each fix.

Need secure software or a security check?

Tell Vimal what you are building or what worries you, and get a clear, honest reply.
