About Vimal Kallyat Panoli
Vimal Kallyat Panoli — VimalKP — is an ethical hacker, programmer and network specialist from Ireland with a strong focus on UI/UX design. Since 2009 he has delivered 285+ projects for organisations in Ireland, the UK, India and the Gulf.
The short version
Vimal is the person you call when software has to work, has to be secure, and has to make sense to the people using it. He writes the code, designs the interface, configures the network — and then tries to break it, the way an attacker would, before anyone else can.
Where it started
Vimal studied computer science in India, earning a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Calicut, a Master of Computer Applications from Bharathiar University, and later an MSc in Computer Science from Madurai Kamaraj University.
From 2009 to 2019 he worked as a network engineer and app developer with GSF Group of Companies in Manama, Bahrain, building and securing networks, VPNs and applications for a multi-company group — ten years of keeping real systems running.
Building in Ireland
In 2016 he founded Kfone, where he is Founder & Creative Director, and since 2020 he has been Senior UI/UX Designer at CleverFox Ireland in Clonmel. Alongside this he develops custom software and apps for public and private sector clients across Ireland, the UK and India, and runs the software studio vimal.si.
Why ethical hacking?
Most breaches are not clever — they exploit ordinary mistakes: a missing permission check, an exposed admin page, a forgotten VPN account. Having built hundreds of systems, Vimal knows where those mistakes hide. Ethical hacking lets him find them, with permission, and fix them for good.
